Since You Asked: Father John Corapi, S.O.L.T., August, 2008

Father John Corapi has an email service to announce new offerings about his various talks and series. This announces a series called, "Since You Asked...Your Questions Answered by Fr. John Corapi". Here is a snippet from the email announcement:

The highly anticipated series is finally available! Consisting of nineteen hours and almost 250 questions answered by Father John Corapi, this new series was video taped at events all over the United States.

“Educational, Inspirational, Entertaining, Refreshing, Courageous, So easy to understand, and It’s about time!”—These are just a few of the comments we have received from previews of this exciting new series, almost two years in the making.

Hundreds and hundreds of man-hours were spent traveling to events throughout the United States, on videography, editing, arranging, and producing in order to bring you this best ever collection of your questions answered by Fr. John Corapi.

Almost 19 full hours of DVD video or CD audio indexed for ease of study, this is the greatest collection of general questions asked of Fr. John Corapi at several conferences and parishes throughout the United States. This is not a compilation of past question and answer formats. This is all new footage shot during Father’s travels in the year 2007.

We have no doubt that you will learn a great deal from Fr. Corapi’s responses to these candid, honest, and intelligent questions. You will find that you are learning while enjoying Father’s clear, simple, humorous, and direct way of conveying the Church’s teaching. He even gives his personal opinion in a few cases, answering personal questions from a few folks that might not have been the most supportive or friendly folks. “That doesn’t matter,” Father says. “I’ve always believed a question is a sign of intelligence, a sign you want to know something.” Even in the rare cases where a question or two might have been a sign of something less than intelligence, Fr. John gives them all they asked for and more.

Some of these questions are hard-nosed and definitely controversial. Fr. Corapi has never been accused of being subtle. When he began this project, Father told his team of co-workers, “This will make us a lot of friends, and a lot of enemies. It’ll prove we’re doing something right!”
