Local TLM Event: Priest's First TLM after Ordination at Our Lady's Center, Ellicott City, Maryland - June 24th, 2014

This came from a friend...

On Tuesday, June 24th, the Church will celebrate the Nativity of St. John the Baptist.  At 6:30 PM at Our Lady's Center, a new priest for the Archdiocese of Baltimore will celebrate his first Traditional Latin Mass!  Rev. Mr. Joseph Langan, who will have just been ordained the weekend before, will offer a High Mass.  Fr. Ernest Cibelli, who is back from Rome for a few weeks, will assist, and the Regina Caeli Schola Cantorum, under Mia Coyne's direction, will sing.

Please join us for this grand feast day and discover the beauty of the ancient liturgy.  A recent post at New Liturgical Movement eloquently explains how the Extraordinary Form of the Mass is able to express the mysteries of the Faith in a most powerful way with its most complex layers speaking more directly to the soul.

After Mass, join us for a pot luck dinner to congratulate Fr. Langan and catch up with Fr. Cibelli.

Our Lady's Center is located at 3301 S. Rogers Ave., Ellicott City, MD 21043.  The website is located here.
