Visitors Seek: Mass for the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary!

I've just noticed that many are searching for the Mass for the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  This is the Mass designated for today in the revised Novus Ordo calendar.  However, this Mass is celebrated in the Usus Antiquior calendar (the Missale Romanum of 1962) on May 31st (unless superseded as it was this year by Easter).  It will appear again on May 31st in 2016.

The Feast for today in the traditional calendar is the Immaculate Heart of Mary which is celebrated on August 22nd (the Octave of the Assumption).

It is not uncommon for the Mass of the revised calendar to be quite different from the traditional calendar!  In fact, one can obtain nice calendars from Amazon that combine the two calendars for each calendar day; the Novus Ordo Mass being said is usually at the top and the Traditional calendar feasts just below.  Only this week the Mass for Saint Jane Frances de Chantal was said on two different days!

Each week I have been posting the Ordo for the week to come on Sundays between 3 to 4 PM (EST/EDT).  An example is from last week.  This will give you information on which Mass Propers will be posted for the coming week.  Note that in each post, I include the Novus Ordo Mass readings of the USCCB.
