Annual FSSP Pilgrimage Mass, Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, May 28th, 5:30 PM

I received this via email and wanted to make sure it got wide distribution. Thanks to Ken!

The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter conducts an annual pilgrimage from Emmitsburg, Maryland to Washington, D.C. each spring. It concludes with a traditional Latin Solemn High Mass in the Crypt Church of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.

The Missa Solemnis will be on Saturday, 28 May, at 5:30 p.m. The celebrant will be Father James Buckley, F.S.S.P. Fourteen F.S.S.P. seminarians will assist. Gregorian chant will be sung by a schola of seminarians and local men, led by a seminarian.

The liturgy will be a third class Mass in white vestments, using the propers of Saint Augustine of Canterbury.

It is not to be in the great upper church, but in the Crypt Church of the basilica shrine which is still a very large room to fill. Parking is plentiful there.
